CSSAH Excused Absence

Students must be eligible to receive federal student aid and meet the following criteria:

• Cumulative FAMU GPA of 3.3 or higher
• Completed a minimum of one (1) academic year at FAMU (30 Credit hours or more)
• Completed 2024/2025 FAFSA^®
• Pell Eligible
• All relevant documents submitted to financial aid by April 1, 2024
• Eligible applicants will average 30 credit hours completed in an academic year at FAMU

The combination of this award and other tuition specific awards cannot exceed your tuition costs. If you are the recipient of an award that covers your tuition costs, you cannot receive the OSW.

The application will remain open for thirty (30) days: March 1^st – March 31^st.  The final determination of eligible students will be made by June 1, 2024.
