For over a decade, the African/Black Psychology Conference (ABPC), hosted at FAMU, has served as the preeminent event where professional scholars and practitioners celebrate and share Afrikan Psychological research, scholarship, teaching, and practice. The conference provides a training venue for professionals all disciplines, namely those in the social sciences, health, and helping fields. Also, the event allows scholars to present original research. The ABPC offers an opportunity to network with professionals, faculty, students, and community members from across the country, especially those who are members of The Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi)
