Our Mission
The primary mission of Philosophy & Religion at Florida A&M University is to provide students with educational experiences within a student-centered environment that prominent and foster self-directed lifelong learners who, with the use of critical thinking, and effective communication skills, infuse theory into practice and acquire competence in the content and methodology of philosophy and religion within a culturally diverse context.

The unit has the goal of preparing qualified students for advanced academic work in graduate and professional schools.
