Cadet Te-Andre Anthony Brown was born in Jamaica on June 28, 1998, and was a senior business administration student at Florida A&M University. Te-Andre joined many FAMU organizations, such as Army ROTC, the National Society of Pershing Rifles, the Beta New Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, and the Omega Xi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business fraternity.
On March 15, 2020, Te-Andre died while trying to rescue another swimmer in distress. He was a brave and selfless young man who would do anything to make sure that the well-being of others was put before his own.
