Policies & Procedures

In order to graduate, students must adhere to policies and procedures mandated by the College of Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities, the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice, and the Registrar’s Office. Specific forms must be completed to determine eligibility. Some of the policies required to graduate are specific to the college, department and the University.

Policies & Procedures

  • CSSAH Release from Graduation Hold Form
    Students must reapply for graduation if they did not meet graduation requirements previously. Students will need to complete the CSSAH Release from Graduation Hold Form to remove the graduation hold.

  • Academic Honesty Policy
    The academic honesty policy shall be adhered to by all Florida A&M University students and applies to all academic work, both inside and outside of class. Any instance of academic honesty violations are considered part of student records.

  • Department Standardized Class Policies
    To ensure students have the most successful and beneficial college experiences, the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice has established standardized class policies. These policies include but are not limited to areas such as attendance, lateness, exams, course materials/documents, cell phone, and food.
